  I bought this to replace my 35yr old sea wolf 520 on my 36' Sea Ray Cabin Cruiser. After careful research between lewmar 1000 and the maxwell HRC8 , I think I made the better choice . Easy installation, seems to be well made , did notice huge difference in speed and quiteness from my last windlass , transition from chain and rode was non existence. Currently using 3 plait 9/16 , 5/16 chain without any slippage or problems,, manufacturer recommends 8 plait if any issues arise will convert to the 8 plait .   This is a great way to eliminate the "swamp box" in your bilge. You must have enough depth in your forward bilge to package the 2-way manifold and a fitting at the bottom exit. Works very well, and no standing water in the bilge. The pump runs 9 seconds after the manifold is empty to drain almost all the water.

  The only problem I had was the original order was for the stainless steel model, which on your web site said "in stock". However, it was not in stock and would take 2-3 weeks before it was available. I elected to change the order from the stainless steel model to the white epoxy model and again our web site said "in stock", which again was not the case. I received an email stating the model was on back order. The unit was finally shipped and received on Wednesday May 27.

  Dear Sirs; After researching fish finders/chart plotters, their features, prices, and reviews, I settled on the Lowrance Elite 7Ti w/total scan transducer and nav. You had the best price that I could find. Since I am in Alaska, ground shipping was an additional $39. Since my sister-in-law was visiting in OR for three weeks, I asked if she would take delivery and bring it back to Alaska when she returned in two weeks. You sent the unit out and she got it yesterday. You sent me a request to review it. I will be happy to, but it probably won't be before April or May, when I've had a chance to mount it and try it out. I appreciate your quick service and look forward to using the unit.
