Furuno FCV628 5.7" Fishfinder with RezBoost The 5.7" FCV628 uses revolutionary new RezBoost™ technology that increases
resolution and improves target separation utilizing a compact, narrowband
transducer. RezBoost™ is a revolutionary new signal processing technology developed by
FURUNO that improves resolution and target separation when using conventional
narrowband transducers. Spot individual game fish surrounding bait balls, as
well as fish close to the seabed. With RezBoost™, not only can you expect higher
resolution and crisper visuals, but also improvements in the ACCU-FISH™
function. With RezBoost™ the capabilities of conventional narrowband transducers can be
dramatically improved. Compared to conventional signal processing techniques (FDF),
a RezBoost™ fish finder produces an image that is up to 8 times clearer. What
can be done with a conventional narrowband transducer, just like the one you
might have installed on your vessel, is truly impressive.
With RezBoost™ technology, the resolution is increased, leading to sharper and
more defined echoes. Thanks to this increase in resolution, the accuracy of the
ACCU-FISH™ function is also improved. ACCU-FISH™ is very useful when you need to
determine fish size, but also has the added benefit of making fish echoes more
visible when viewed from a distance. With ACCU-FISH™ you can spot individual
fish echoes even from the deck on your vessel. Furuno FCV588 8.4" Fishfinder with RezBoost The 8.4" FCV588 uses revolutionary new RezBoost™ technology that increases
resolution and improves target separation utilizing a compact, narrowband
transducer. RezBoost™ is a revolutionary new signal processing technology developed by
FURUNO that improves resolution and target separation when using conventional
narrowband transducers. Spot individual game fish surrounding bait balls, as

size assessment function of FCV588 that is proprietary to FURUNO. In order to
assess individual fish size, echo returns are evaluated based on strength and
turned into fish size display on screen. ACCU-FISH™ can detect fish size from 10
to 199 cm, in depths of 2 to 100 m. Furuno FCV295 10.4 inch Fish Finder
The FCV-295 is a new color digital sounder designed for a variety of
professional fishing operations. It features a bonded ‘fogging-free’ 10.4" LCD
display providing superior viewing even in direct sunlight. You can display
echoes in 8, 16, or 64 colors, with color assignment dependent on the strength
of the returned echo.
The FURUNO Free Synthesizer (FFS) Transceiver allows a wide selection of
operating frequencies. You may choose any two frequencies between 28 and 200 kHz
to fit your fishing operation. Output power is selectable from 1, 2 or 3 kW. A
wide variety of display modes and functions are available, which provide
skippers with simple and intuitive information.
When FURUNO transducers are connected and set to the FCV-295, the operating
frequency range will be registered and shown in the menu. The user can shift the
operating frequency freely between the ranges at any time from the menu. With
the FURUNO 82B-35R transducer, the operator can select any operating frequency
from 66 to 109 kHz. This feature is particularly useful for vessels targeting
many different species, or when the fish finders of other ships in the area
cause interference. Furuno FCV1150 12.1 inch Color Fishfinder
The FCV1150 is a color digital sounder designed for a variety of professional
fishing operations. It’s high-brightness 12.1” color LCD with AR coated glass
filter provides superior, glare-free viewing even in direct sunlight.
The FCV1150 employs Furuno Free Synthesizer (FFS) technology which permits a
wide selection of operating frequencies from 28 to 200 kHz. If a Furuno
transducer is used, operating frequency is automatically set in the menu, and
can be shifted manually at any time. This feature is useful for vessels
targeting many different species of fish, and may also be used to eliminate
interference that may be caused by nearby ships with transducers operating at
the same frequency. Output power is selectable among 1, 2 or 3 kW.
A wide variety of display modes and functions are available that provide
captains with simple and intuitive information for virtually any fishing
requirement including Single (HF/LF), Dual, Single + Zoom, Zoom (Bottom Lock,
Bottom Zoom or Marker Zoom), Mix Mode, Nav Data and A-Scope. Additionally, two
custom display modes may be programmed by the operator. The FCV1150 can be
interfaced with a Furuno Satellite Compass to compensate for heaving caused by
the movement of the ocean, providing unwavering, stable detection even in rough
seas. Furuno FE800 IMO Compliant Echo Sounder
The FE800 is a result of Furuno's many decades of experience developing echo
sounders, sonars, and underwater application equipment and systems. This echo
sounder is a breakthrough over the conventional paper sounders; there are no
consumable items. The purpose of the echo sounder is to provide safe navigation
by detecting the clearance below the ship (particularly in shallow waters) as
required on the SOLAS Convention ships by the new IMO standards.
The basic system consists of a display unit and distribution box. The 8.4"
high-brightness color LCD display offers an easy-to-read depth sounding in
various modes, permitting optimum representation with respect to the
environment.
Detection range is automatically varied but there is manual override to select
the required scale. The displayed record is visible for 15 min on any range and
an instantaneous sounding is directly shown in large numerals in addition to the
graphical display. Depths, associated time, and position are stored for 24 h in
memory. The data can be played back at any time. Furuno DFF1-UHD TruEcho CHIRP Sounder Module
Designed to operate over a wide range of frequencies utilizing a broadband
transducer, the new DFF1-UHD TruEcho CHIRP-enabled network sounder for NavNet
TZtouch and NavNet 3D delivers significant advancements in signal clarity and
target definition. The clear presentation of the DFF1-UHD marks individual game
fish and bait fish, even when tightly schooled together or very near the sea
floor.
Standard, non-CHIRP Fish Finders operate at one or two individual frequencies
and are generally capable of detecting targets and displaying them only within
those narrow frequency bands. CHIRP Fish Finders transmit pulses across a wide
range of frequencies, allowing Furuno’s superior digital signal processing (DSP)
to display fish and structure targets with unparalleled clarity, accuracy and
resolution. Furuno DFF3D 3D Sonar
You may think you’ve seen 3D Multi-Beam Sonar in action, but many of those
images begin disappearing as you approach 200 feet. Furuno’s DFF3D takes 3D Fish
Finding to new depths. We’re talking depths of over 980 feet, with Side Scanning
over 650 feet. See fish and bottom structure as you’ve never seen them before,
at depths previously unfathomable. Now you can visibly see fish schools and the
underwater landscape at great depths in amazing detail. The DFF3D turns your
NavNet TZtouch or TZtouch2 MFD into a multi-beam sonar that can see 120-degrees
port to starboard, allowing you to see the depth and direction fish schools are
moving, while displaying the seabed condition in real time.
